We'd rather not know.

Effective October 25, 2026. This page covers two things: this website, and the Cutgraph Studio app.

The app collects nothing

Cutgraph Studio runs on your computer. It has no account system, no telemetry, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your media, transcripts, projects, exports and logs stay in a local folder on your machine, and the app only accepts connections from that machine.

A few optional features talk to third parties when you use them: the co-pilot sends your request and relevant transcript text to Anthropic with your own API key; first-run model downloads come from public model hosts; stock search sends your search terms to Pexels or Pixabay with your own keys. Those services' own privacy policies apply. We never receive any of that traffic.

What this website collects

Page views, without cookies. When you load a page, the server records the path, the time, the host of the site that referred you (not the full link), whether the request looks like a bot, and a visitor hash. Visitor identifiers are hashed with a salt that rotates daily and is deleted on a later capture, so visits can't be linked across days. We don't store your IP address or browser string, we don't set analytics cookies, and there are no third-party trackers or advertising scripts on this site.

Waitlist signups, if you choose to join. We store your lower-cased email address, the interests you select, the page you signed up from (without query parameters), the signup time, and your consent with the version of the consent text you accepted. We use this information to announce the source preview and send the updates you requested, and to record your permission to receive them. We do not sell your address or use it for advertising.

Signups go to our site's Postgres database, hosted by Neon; this website is hosted by Vercel. The form only accepts signups when a receiver is configured. The site also supports an optional webhook receiver instead of Postgres; before using an external list service, we will name that service here. Email addresses are not written to application logs.

Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can reply.

Your theme choice (light or dark) is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

How long we keep it

Page-view records are kept for as long as they help us understand which pages are useful, and never longer than 24 months. Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them or we retire the list, whichever comes first. To leave the waitlist, email hello@cutgraph.app from the address you used to sign up and ask to be removed. We will delete your waitlist entry.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@cutgraph.app. Because page views are not tied to a name, an email address or a stable identifier, we usually can't single out your page views, and so there is nothing about you in them to return.

Changes

If we change how this site handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
